Nightlight Blues
Introduction
I came into this with a simple premise: write something to introduce people to my writing style. Nightlight Blues is my most edited word so far, with each chapter recieving up to five drafts. If I had to show somebody what my writing style looks like in a single project, it would be this.
Synopsis
We have surpassed god. Now we hunt her.
Hamlet Isingway von Karma is no hero. Yet, he has the unfortunate reality of habouring the most wanted individual on Tesseran, and in doing so, becoming one himself. Now, he runs with Keelia, a disgraced goddess, from the United Continental Coalition who wants to experiment on her in order to uncover the secret of immortality.
While on the run, Hamlet and Keelia stop by Nightlight, a city where pollution blots the sky and corporations use it to conduct the internet. Both tension and exhaustion runs high, with the UCC hot on their tails. Will they rise to the stress, or crumple from it?
Note:
The characters and setting present in Nightlight Blues is from an earlier version of Darkholm and is not reflective of the canon of the main fantasy setting. For my work in general, assume that if it isn't published, it's not canon.
